Rewritten Road Trip x Rock My Wedding

#RewirittenRMWroadtrip @ Ghost Orchid Bride

When it comes to Bridesmaid dresses, finding a brand that truly speaks to me has proved somewhat difficult to say the least. If you are aware of our store, you'll know that we aren't afraid to search the globe in order to find the most imaginative designers to add to our collection. Bringing you bridal labels from L.A, New York, Melbourne, Toronto and beyond, if it fits with our ethos of luxury bridal meets fashion, then location doesn't even come into it. That's why we were so thrilled to hear from the lovely girls Fran and Katie from Rewritten who have brought to life their vision of "damn cool bridesmaid dresses" for modern women and what's better....they are based right here in our countries capital. Creating fuss-free, stylish and well made bridesmaid dresses, Rewritten are a breath of fresh air to the UK industry. When they asked if we would like to be part of their road trip in conjunction with world renouned wedding blog Rock My Wedding, we practically bit their hands off.

So excited we were about the event, we made sure it was going to be one to remember by bringing in other local industry related businesses who worked so hard to bring the party to life and make it much more than a showcasing. We had the talented Callum from The Yorkshire Bartender making ridiculously good cocktails....I mean, what party doesn't have alcohol right? The super sweet Alice from Forage and Blossom really worked her little butt off all day creating the most incredible flower installations and was kind enough to stick around for a flower crown making work shop which went down a storm and delightfully accented the bridesmaid dresses. The adorable Amy George Make Up Artist taught us all a thing or two about make up and did some amazing demonstrations using dried flowers and taught us about all the latest trends. Oh.. and I now know how to do the perfect eyeliner ticks thanks to Amy! A task I once thought impossible.

Needless to say, thanks to the awesome dresses and talented team,  the night was a huge success with brides and their best girls travelling to us from all over the North of England to enjoy the night. What's even better is we decided we just couldn't say goodbye to the dresses and they are now a regular staple in the Ghost Orchid Bride collection. Finally I had found a bridesmaid label I could relate with!

The whole night was captured by Cluskey Smith Photography and For All The Days Video who not only know how to bring to life your vision, they're all round pretty nice people.
